Winston Churchill said, “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.”
Do you want to be more optimistic about the future? Are you looking for help to see your opportunities? Maybe you need a co-author to rewrite your story?
If so, I would like to be the one to explore with you, to guide you beyond your problems, and find solutions.
I am Tanya Hayter, a counsellor working with counselling clients in the Melksham area and training businesses countrywide.
After many years supporting clients with trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES), which had often led them to homelessness and substance misuse, I decided to train as a counsellor so that I could help with the issues of the past that caused their problems in the present.
I gained my BSc in Systemic Counselling at The Family Institute, University of South Wales. I believe that every client has different experiences, and that creates very different people, so I tailor my approach to be as individual as my clients.
I offer the REWIND Technique for PTSD, FREE to forces veterans.
I also offer a FREE 30 minute assessment appointment to see if we think we can work together, as I believe our relationship will be the most important thing. For more about my counselling skills, please click on my Counselling Page.
I am also a qualified trainer, who specialises in mental health self care and awareness for businesses and organisations whose staff are in the helping professions; such as charities who help vulnerable people, care homes, housing support, substance misuse treatment, and Adult and Children’s Services. I am a clinical supervisor and act as a consultant for organisations who wish to help their staff care for their own mental health. If this is of interest to you, please see my Training and Consultancy Page.
